A Window into Life in the Suburbs

"Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these." Luke 12:27 (NIV)

Mother's Day Pamper Event at Playgroup

My Friday playgroup at the local Uniting church pulled out all the stops yesterday and threw us a nice Mother's Day bash while they brought a couple of husbands along to mind the kiddies.
We were served some delicious morning tea (zucchini slice... yummo), punch, a hot drink, foot spar, a shoulder massage and heard a moving story from a lady I know quite well about the God who Sees.  If that wasn't enough, we were given gift packs to take home.

  1. Sounds like it was a lovely morning! I wish our playgroup had done something like that (I'm co-leader, so I should have planned better!!) Oh well, there's always next year!

  2. This is why I think it is good for different playgroups to touch base once in a while and find out what others are doing so that we can learn from each other.
I'm not involved in the planning of this playgroup which is probably why I really enjoy it. I can sit around and talk to people and help out when required. So relaxing... :D
